Wird I-Worm.Bagle.W ausgeführt, so erscheint am Bildschirm folgende Meldung:
"Can't find a viewer associated with the file".
I-Worm.Bagle.W kopiert sich als drvsys.exe und system.exe in den Windows-Systemordner
und fügt folgenden Registrierungseintrag hinzu:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
drvsys.exe = drvsys.exe
Die E-Mail-Adressen sucht sich I-Worm.Bagle.W in Dateien mit folgenden Endungen:
.WAB,.TXT,.MSG,.HTM,.SHTM,.STM,.XML,.DBX,.MBX,.MDX,.EML,.NCH,.MMF,.ODS,.CFG,.ASP,.PHP,
.WSH,.ADB,.TBB,.SHT,.XLS,.OFT,.UIN,.CGI,.MHT,.DHTM und .JSP
Die E-Mail haben folgendes Aussehen:

Klicken Sie in der Taskleiste auf Start|Ausführen. Geben Sie "Regedit" ein und drücken Sie Enter. Es öffnet sich der Registrierungseditor.
Suchen Sie unter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE die Einträge:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
drvsys.exe = drvsys.exe
Löschen Sie die Einträge, sofern sie existieren.
Schließen Sie den Registrierungseditor.
