Mururoa.2464 ist ein harmloser, speicherresistenter, parasitärer, verschlüsselter, stealth Virus, welcher den Interrupt 21h manipuliert und sich ans Ende von .com und .exe Files schreibt, die ausgeführt oder geschlossen werden. Infizierte Files werden beim Öffnen desinfiziert. Das Virus befällt keine Anti-Virus Programme. Am 4. jedes Monats gibt das Virus folgende Meldung aus:
